So I started thinking that I should update my blog because it's been quite a few days, but then I thought that I really don't have too much to update you all on. I haven't gotten out to explore yet and besides school and home, I don't venture any other place since the village is 5 miles away from the school. BUT Macy has been keeping me very, very busy and she makes me smile so this post is basically going to be filled with pictures of her. I'm sure it won't be the last post like that. ; )
The second week of school is done now and unfortunately it wasn't as great as the first week but it wasn't completely terrible. The newness of the first week of school clearly wore off and so my kids were a little crazy but even still - they kept me laughing. Again, I got really lucky and really love my kids, even if they do drive me nuts sometimes. ; )
Last night all of the teachers had dinner at Ryan and LeEsia's house! It was nice to all get together and hang out - I needed to get out of the house for awhile too! It was a fun night and some of us hung around until a little later just chatting. Much needed! Yesterday morning was the weekly trip down the 5 mile road to the store and the post office! I stocked up on some more bread, Dr. Pepper and a few odds and ends that I really didn't need but hey, you've got to have the bad stuff sometimes!
Thursday night was open house at the school so I got to meet quite a few of my students' parents! That was fun. Pretty surreal that I was the teacher as I said before but it was a nice night and I was glad parents came to meet me and see the classroom!
Today, the rain has ruined our plans to go shooting but there will be other days! So I'm going to try to be productive and clean a little bit and play with Miss Macy before dinner at Ryan and LeEsia's again - moose for dinner tonight!! Yum : )
Macy skyping with Aunt Kasie, hahaha
Her new camo collar and leash!
Favorite chew toy : )
She is no longer that sickly little puppy with no energy, she is now my crazy, full of energy puppy!
Playing with some of the other village puppies that are around
My kids LOVE Macy... these are 3 of my 4 girls in my class!
My backyard the other night - absolutely gorgeous!
Every single night she tries to lay on my face!
I'm so glad that I got Macy! Now that I have her, I don't know what I'd do without her.... I'm hoping to be able to bring her home for Christmas so everyone at home can meet her, plus I want her with me for that long - I don't want to leave her behind! We'll see if the airlines cooperate for that!
I'm always welcoming visitors up here - I'll just throw that out there, too. ; )
Miss you all <3
